It is about a year now since I have introduced the ThemeZee Club and the PRO versions of my themes. Before that, ThemeZee provided only free wordpress themes and earned some money via affiliate marketing for other theme shops. Since users of my free themes asked for more features and theme support regularly I eventually decided to start the Theme Club. Actually there was just to less time to provide theme support and theme development for free.
So far I’m quite happy how the theme club has developed over the past year. I have learned a lot about operating an own online business and have greatly improved my theme development and WordPress skills. It is awesome to see how you are using and customizing my WordPress themes and how many website are powered by them.
For me it was a year full of fun, hard work and study. Thank you for all your trust in ThemeZee WordPress themes, I’ll really appreciate it.
Plans for the next year
Of course there are a lot of plans for the second theme club year. After the release of the first responsive WordPress themes the last two months I hope to deliver new awesome themes monthly. Furthermore I will shift some of my old static width themes to a responsive layout the next months.
Other plans are an affiliate program, a showcase, a bunch of ThemeZee plugins and an even better theme documentation and theme support as before.
Small price increase
Right now the Theme Club costs $29 per year, which is an incredibly good value for getting 18 premium wordpress themes. The price for the club will be increased henceforth to $35 per year, which is still an incredibly good value for getting 18 wordpress themes : -)
Of course – to be honest – this price increase is realized to earn more money and improve the profitability of the theme club. Most of the money will be spent on developing new themes and plugins and marketing expenses (affiliate program).
