Retirement of older themes

Today I am announcing the retirement of all our older, static-width themes which were mostly created back in 2011. Since then a lot of things have changed in web and WordPress theme development. Websites are visited more and more on mobile devices rather than desktop computers, which has led to Responsive Webdesign and mobile-ready themes.

Happy holidays

Another year has nearly passed and it was a quite successful one for ThemeZee. After improving the support process at the beginning of the year I spent really much time on learning everything about responsive webdesign. The result were the release of eight new ThemeZee WordPress themes with responsive layout in 2013. Finally ThemeZee.com also got a mobile ready design.

New layout on themezee.com

Some of you have surely recognized already that ThemeZee got a new design yesterday. I’m very happy that I finally managed to update themezee.com. I was working on the new theme the last few weeks whenever I found some time beyond the daily business.

As you can see it is no radical change in design but only slightly improvements. Therefore I guess nobody gets confused with the new look.

Theme Club turns one year old

It is about a year now since I have introduced the ThemeZee Club and the PRO versions of my themes. Before that, ThemeZee provided only free wordpress themes and earned some money via affiliate marketing for other theme shops. Since users of my free themes asked for more features and theme support regularly I eventually decided to start the Theme Club. Actually there was just to less time to provide theme support and theme development for free.

So far I’m quite happy how the theme club has developed over the past year. I have learned a lot about operating an own online business and have greatly improved my theme development and WordPress skills. It is awesome to see how you are using and customizing my WordPress themes and how many website are powered by them.
