New Pricing structure

This weekend we made some big changes in our business model, product policy and update process. We really hope you are not totally overwhelmed by it so far. You may have noticed that our price model has also changed along with the new license system.

Since every purchase is now linked to a license key with a maximum number of installed websites, the pricing structure needed some refinement. We have added three different price options depending on the number of sites you are using. The price model is now more flexible and aligned with your needs.

Adding software licensing for automatic updates

One key feature of our new PRO Version plugins is support for automatic updates. Our WordPress themes are actively developed and we release updates for new features and bugfixes quite often.

Manual updates were always a big hassle for a lot of users and had the result that many websites run on outdated software. We also got many emails with reports for bugs which were already fixed in the latest version of the theme.

This update “problem” will be solved with our new products. The automatic updates will be provided by using a complete software licensing  system on our website, as many other WordPress companies already do. This post will describe all changes.

Meet our new ThemeZee Update News website

We have to admit that the update process of our PRO themes was not very perfect and we want to simplify it. So far you could manually check for available updates on our Changelog page. Furthermore we have announced critical updates on Twitter, Facebook or via Blog.

However, it was not a really good and thought-out process to notify you about theme updates and it is time to change that.
