When ThemeZee was founded in 2010 the WordPress theme market was much smaller than today and only in its beginnings. It was a fast decision to create our website completely in English to attract a larger audience.
Since then 5 years have passed and WordPress has enlarged its market share rapidly. We think it was time for us to be finally present with a German website in our home country.
Most of you have surely seen our newest theme named Glades, which we have soft-launched a few weeks ago. Nevertheless the theme deserves its own introductory post.
Glades quickly became one of our most popular themes and reached nearly 20.000 downloads on wordpress.org the first weeks. We are sure it will have a bright future!
After the launch of the theme club back in September 2012 and offering PRO themes and top-notch theme support ThemeZee has gained over 2.000 paying theme club members so far. Although the theme club model has worked quite well and ThemeZee has become a healthy business, there were several downsides of the existing subscription model.
Some of you have surely recognized already that ThemeZee got a new design yesterday. I’m very happy that I finally managed to update themezee.com. I was working on the new theme the last few weeks whenever I found some time beyond the daily business.
As you can see it is no radical change in design but only slightly improvements. Therefore I guess nobody gets confused with the new look.

As promised new themes should be released more regularly and the intervals between new themes should be shortened. Therefore I’m proud to announce zeeNoble – the second responsive WordPress theme from ThemeZee only three weeks after the first one.
zeeNoble is designed for business websites (you can use it for normal blogs, too) and comes with an awesome elegant and fully responsive webdesign. The uniqueness of zeeNoble is the powerful frontpage template which supports a big content slideshow to attract visitors.
Yesterday the new version of zeeReputation has been approved and turned live to the WordPress Theme Directory. There were two litte careless mistakes that avert the approvement.
The other themes have been updated a few days ago. So finally all of my free wordpress themes are up to date now.
